Remove Windows Genuine Notification in Xp

 

Often people don't get a genuine distribution of windows so they get notification to purchase it inorder to make it genuine, otherwise their computer is at risk. Last time i told my readers about a patch to get rid of these notifications in Windows 7. Read that post here :

So, today i am telling an easy way inorder to get rid of same problem in WIndows Xp. Just read this tutorial and share with friends,This notification appears at startup and also at desktop like this:

 
Step 1: Go to Start and click Run Type there regedit and hit enter button.
Now go to following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify and delete the WGALOGON folder.(right click that to delete)
So, now restart the computer and this time notification will disappear since we have deleted them from windows startup.Inorder to kill the .exe files which run these notifications then read below:

Step 2: Go to my computer and from Folder options in the top menu, Enable , Show hidden files.
Now go to, C:\Windows\System32\ and search for WgaTray.exe and delete it. (If not deleting use unlocker).

Tip:This process is done, but for more accuracy search only wga and delete every file which you think that its related to windows genuine notifications.
